xbox is much betta then ps2, the controlla is more comftable, the quality is better 10fold, you can upload and save games, play over network.(i can do this and more with chipped one) and as for the games, xbox bring pretty much every ps2 game out- 6-12months later for a reason (they do a questionaire for things that should of been added) then add them, and release it improved(which turns out to be better then the 2nd that ps2 releases!!!!!) if ps want to be back on top, they have got their work cut out, cos xbox2 is in the works, and they are also talking wit ninten to make a combined console, which will prob be better then ps3 and xbox2!!!!!!!

actually i find the original xbox controller the most natural of the bunch - and i have fairly small hands. i've used the controller s, but the "duke" is still my favourite except for specific games. game cube's is just odd because it wouldn't be a nintendo otherwise, but i find the ps2 downright awkward wrt the analogue sticks (it gets painful after a while).
on the games, ps2 had a couple of years head start on the back-catalogue, but i think xbox is beginning to mount a serious challenge, especially as developers produce less and less exclusive titles so they don't block out a good portion of their potential market. xbox also has an advantage since it's architecture is much easier to write games for than ps2, and the tech is obviously better. xbox live also seems to be a superior service implementation than the ps2 equivalent, and uptake figures seem to reflect this (at least in oz).
i don't think the battle will be over on this generation of consoles for a while yet - if ever - simply because nintendo and ms have a fair bit of catch-up to do. gc's only advantage is price, but it lacks dvd support. xbox is joining the fight late, entering a market that had only one product thus far. i think by the end of this year things will get very interesting.

humm, i wonder who's sold the most consols, and controllers are up to the individual person, i prefer the PS2's controller, i find the Xbox's too chuncky, even with the new one, however this may be because i'm only young

, it's ok, i can use it fine, but i prefer holdin the PS2 one

Xbrick all the way if it is modded. I've upgraded my harddrive to a 120GB. Games can be transferred on to harddrive to run and makes loading games super quick. I have loads of divx movies and mp3s on my Xbox and the quality of them is excellent. I'm currently half way thru watching new series of 24 on my Xbox
It’s not just a games console but a mobile entertainment unit.

120gigs is not much on the Xbox. Most games are about 3gigs and I have about 40.
I only have 5gigs left.

I love my (transparent green) xbox, and only got a (silver) ps2 to play Gran turismo 4 when it comes out, plus it matches my 32 inch Sony widescreen Tv @ Smoke dog how can you be almost halfway through watching the new series of 24, when the U.S is only 3 or 4 episodes ahead of the U.K and it is not released on dvd or video until later in the year!

@slattery69 you only upgrade your harddrive when your xbox is chip and swapping hd is very easy. Just a case of taking out old HD (internal) and putting in the new.
I can't record of the TV, just transfer movie file on the harddrive via the network or from CD.
@BlackBauer24 l've watched 13 episodes which l've downloaded from the internet. Each one being about 400mb in size. For a episode update go to FOX website.
