Greetings everyone...

Here is my opinion, please correct me if I am wrong:

This is not a problem of Px00 and I suspect that some times before the 'auto-dial' syndrome happen, there might be another device with Bt support that is used by someone near the Px00 and that person has sent a fake task through Bt to the Px00. And the fake task contains a trigger to dial at the specific time.

Regards,

But the redial function isn't a 'callback' function, so I can't see how it would 'know' that she was now free.

Once my P900 turned itself on!

No charger pluged in.
No one touched the phone.

Phone was left there untouched for couple hours!
Still don't know why the fcuk it happened!

Because it redials untill she is free. When she is, it gives a beep so you will know that it is now ringning.

Aha, smart feature, I've only ever used redial once.
It annoyed me as it kept bloody redialling over and over, but now I realise that it's supposed to.

Now thats a reasonable answer.. Trouble is I have not phoned her with the mobile! Only from the house phone.

Good idea though.

Thanxs man! But I still think that the problem lies around there. If her name apears first in your adress book, you could easilly have made the cal by mistake.

Lets assume it is a bug in your phone. Than you must have done something to initiate the bug. Well in this case a call and to your beloved mum. So if you try to recap what you have done with the phone before.

The other thing, which I think was mentioned before is that you've made a magic word contected to your mum and the phone will call her.

The thing is the machines are not inteligent (exepct R2D2), leading it waitning for a comand from it user. This function must have been initiated in someway and probably by yourself.

Sorry man, that i cant be more specific, but I dont beleave in a SE Gost.

Cheers

Luc

Many thanks for the response you guys...

Has not happened since..although it did ring my girlfriends, sisters, boyfriend the other day and I didn't do it..Honest guv!!

So maybe there is a bug there somewhere and it chooses at random who it will ring and when. I did the update last night so I will see what happens from here on in.

Great fun though..didn't have this much fun with my SPV Classic that I gave to my daughter.

My phone has decided that I should talk to one of my collegues from a different region (Yorkshire).

I didn't touch it and sat there on my desk it just went 'BEEP' and dialed Tony...

He was fine though...

Has not dialed my mum for a couple of weeks now. Put the Star Trek theme on it as my mum likes the prog

Is that my Star Trek theme you are reffering to?
