I have a white T630 and comparing it to the black in a shop recently I definitly vote white because although the black looks a little shiny on the front the rest of it is matt black and not shiny at all and IMHO looks like a bad paint job

Personally I have the white (I do like the black too though), however the reason for my upgrade was to escape T-mobile UK, with whom I've had nothing but trouble and hassel and escessive international charges. Plus I hate the pink buttons and t-zones rubbish that they insist on ruining a perfectly good phone with! (Just my personal opinion).
An unbranded/unlocked black one would be nice as well though, but I do really like the white one, moreso since I've bought it, really grows on you
