why do you assume i havent tried it. i suppose you use div, its very unstable especially the hacked version. maybe if you are serious about advertiseing "self flashing" you should recommend SE fighter.
or of course you could get a p900 and upgrade legally.
just a thought.

gbrooks3 - if you have used it and screwed something up, its cuz you weren't careful and didn't follow directions. if you follow the directions, there are no errors with it. i agree SE Fighter is much better, but i simply cannot afford it. i'm not profitting from this, i got the cable to only do it for myself and my friends, who i don't obviously charge.
i got the cable for $36USD off ebay and am very happy with it. it is somethig nice to learn about phones and how they work. and if i can't afford SE Fighter for $300USD there is obviously no way i'm geting a p900, as much as i want to.
ps the cracked version of DIV is no less stable than the real one. people who have both ave confirmed this, why are you making assumptions?

look guys i didnt post to start an argument. i have both div and fighter and i agree that we should all be able to upgrade our phones, however i was just outlining some concerns i have about the method and how the mods will react to this thread.
but i guess its a free world and everyone has their own opinions and should be allowed to voice them.

i also do not know what the mods will think, but it is difficult situation. int eh US, we have bad support from SE and flashing/unlocking etc is hard to come by. if such an afforable solution works, i beleive it shoudl be used.
btw, we all know SE fighter is better, but i think of it as a tool for phone shops and people looking to make a busniness of repairing fones. DIV seems to be made for the common man and is not all that hard to use.
