Yes, the alarm makes the SE T610 vibrate.

It's not the alarm, as even when the alarm is off it does it constantly. One thing I can't work out is that it vibrates quicker and slower with the angle you old the phone at. I've decided to take matters into my own hands now, but Im having trouble finding a T610 Vibrator motor, if anybody knows where I can get one of these from then I would be willing to try it...
Many Thanks
It's not the motor which is causing it to vibrate because I've tried another motor in it. Im stuck for ideas now. Unless it's the software, but I dont want to spend £30 on a flash cable if it's not the software.

Another update for you. I borrowed a vibra-motor from another phone and it did the same thing, so it's not the motor. Would, by any chance, it be the software?
In detail this is what happens. Every time you turn the phone off it will constantly vibrate, but only slowly, not full speed. It's noticable, but it's not moving at full speed. Whilst the phone is on it will sometimes vibrate even slower, but you can hear it when you're using the phone. At the moment I've disconnected the vibra-motor and living without the vibrate function (Either I have that, or constant vibrate).
What I want to know is...Could the software be telling the vibra-motor to vibrate slowly even whilst the phone isn't on? When the firmware was flashed last time it didn't vibrate until I put the phone on charge, and then the problem reappeared. Anybody think it could be software?
Long post, sorry.
Many Thanks,
Ash

nabraxas: About Could the software be telling the vibra-motor to vibrate slowly even whilst the phone isn't on?: Yes, it can. When used by the alarm- and remindernotifications functionality it can be set to work even when the phone is off. But, unfortunately, I don't know anything about the vibrate slowly thing...

@bico: Thanks, Im in two minds whether to buy a terminator dongle and reflash it myself. It did stop vibrating for a while until I put it on charge and the problem came back. At the moment Im using it with the vibra-motor contacts cut off so it don't vibrate at all. Might get a terminator dongle, can always resell it if it doesn't work.
Many Thanks all who have helped. Much appreciated.

Sorry to bring back an old thread but...
I still have my T610 and it still constantly vibrates, does anybody think reflashing the firmware will sort the problem because, as my previous post explains, the SE engineers had flashed the phone with a new version and it wasn't vibrating when I received it back until I put it on charge, then the vibrate problem came back...
So, anybody think reflashing the T610 will sort the problem out?
Many thanks,
Ash

@ nabraxas
It is possible. I had a problem whereby my T610 wouldn't switch on. Although this seemed like a physical fault, it turned out to be corrupt software. So as I say, it's possible.
Sorry if this has already been tried, but have you given a master reset a try?
Do you have a terminator dongle?
