I have to requote you since 7610 is a smartphone and S700 never mentioned it have any symbian OS. BUT still both phone looks like direct competitors hehe......

If you need an mp3 player - get a proper one - a phone is not a good substitute.

i feel that the 7610 is just the first that nokia will release this year and there are more to come. personally i don't need an mp3 player or radio in my phone for there are better devices built for these functions.
i'll definitely be grabbing the siemens s65 once it goes on sale. that will be my next phone replacing my t616 for good.
samsung was the best maker that has featured better phones from the others at cebit.

Yeah i know The 7610 is more a competition against the P900/Z1010/S700. But i think the S65 will be a real competitor against the K700.
The only thing i mented to say is that the newest models have Mega-pixel cameras now. And the K700 has an digitalcamera look at the back without a mega-pixel camera. A bit silly.
I like the S65 design a lot, but i don't think i will leave SonyEricsson for it.
