if it doesn't appear on the uninstall menu then use a file manager (e.g. the one in SMan) to delete the DEMO folder on the C drive (in C:systemapps if I recall correctly)
I too am getting the "operator does not support this" message on my CDA162003/8 P900

The update gave me an BIG ERROR!
"Communication error, Update failed.
Remove battery and reinsert and try to restart phone".
That was one nervous minute. Always hate when a bios-firmware kind of update messes up.
But! This time I was lucky. The phone started.
Next update went OK.
"wonder if it went wrong becuse I at the same time was.. listening to MP3, surfing the web and running some other applications..."

Restore works fine.
Did an backup before update (pc suite 2.3.1).
and after update I did an restore. No problems there.
Did backup/restore on the phone and my 128 MB memory card.

Had(having) problems with restore, third fw upgrade no problems previously. I would recommending upgrading the PC suite software first and then doing a backup before doing update. I didn't do this and am having problems restoring.
I have upgraded PC suite now, but it says there is a read write conflict in my backup taken at pre PC Suite upgrade.
just thought I would warn you.

P900 Maintenance Release 3.1 (MR3.1)
Corrections to a fault in the MR3 SW related to download of Java applications using JAD files.
Not really worth the scary update I would say...
