Gmail now supports Apple's Safari Browser
MacMinute and SearchEngineJournal indicate that Gmail has added Mac’s Safari web browser to its list of browsers that are supported.

G-mail goes Pop 3
It's not perfect, but it's very promising. This little systray app can check your Gmail and will let you POP3 your messages off of it. Formatting is a bit mangled, sending doesn't work for me and the alert for new mail isn't very obvious, but until Google gives me something better I'll be running it at work and at home.

Its working for me it just takes a few seconds longer than other sites to load. Probably something to do with your browser or isp?
