Right it does appear to be the one but they tried it on one phone and it didnt work so they are going to download it again and run it on a new phone they are going to ring me back in a bit, i suppose the good news is something is definately out there its wether people can get it sorted, when this spliff wears off im probably going to lose it with SE so till then! if i have not heard anything by 3 pm i will ring them back, even if it is i'll leave it till tomorrow can't be arsed now got up way to early for this:

Why the rush, i think everyone should take it easy with SE i guess they are doing thier best to make to make sure everyone gets the upgrade.Even if they start doing the upgrade today, do you think they will do only upgrades for the whole day? This post was posted from a T68

Quite the opposite. We've taken it easy long enough. We've put up with the software release being delayed constantly, and inaccurate release dates being given simply for the purpose of keeping us quiet, without any actual substance behind them, or so it seems. We've put up with the T68I coming out and working fine. The latest software update that some people have managed to get for the T68M seems to work fine, what 'problems' do SE have? Couldn't disagree more, they don't deserve the tolerance they're getting.

It's very easy to tell people to take it easy when you already have it

I agree with the last few posters, I think we have been patient for long enough.

I have had my T68 since the first week it was released in the UK (in October I think). Eight months later and the upgrade has not been released. However the 'identical' T68i is somehow running the software we want in a stable enough way for it to be released to consumers.

Irrespective of technical issues etc., SE have proved that they cannot communicate to their customers or even within their own company. It seems very much like they are trying to create a smokescreen of confusion by telling different stories to different sources.

If the firmware is released this week I will probably forgive SE and go back to being happy with my purchase. If they delay it again and doubt that I will ever pay for an SE product again. When I buy something I expect it deliver on advertising promisses without having to wait eight months for an upgrade.

Well put Dunc, I think that would make a good letter to their customer service dept.
