You can unbrand your T630 by using the terminator dongle cable and for the firmware do a google search and you can have an unlocked T630 This message was posted from a T630

You can unlock the t630. T mobile will have the unlocking code for it. If not they will get it off SE for you. May take a couple o days tho.

NB. They will only give out the code if the owner hsd spent enough credit or they have fulfilled the contract

Microsoft Hotmail should follow Yahoo!'s lead and offer access to their messenger service via a WAP site. Yahoo! has done this for a few years now, and you can see on a PC if you friend is on his mobile as the smiley next to his name/id has a mobile phone (cute).

On mobile.msn.com, you can use messenger.

Hi everyone,

I have exactly the same problem as Marcos. I just got a T630 a few days ago, a relative bought it for me while he was in Hong Kong on business.

Good thing is it's unlocked, and I'm using it OK on Vodafone here in Australia. Problem is it's branded T-mobile, with the irritating firmware.

Does anyone know what would be the easiest way to change the firmware back to the original form? Do you reckon I would be able to get it done for free if I take it to a SE service centre?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks...

I un branded my phone with the help of ethan from this forum. Yes, it's possible to get rid of all customizations from your service provider (t-mobile in my case). Pm me if you want to know what steps i took to get rid of all the crap. This message was posted from a T630
