It's *free*, nothing like $1. Read the thread more carefully.

Wow TV adverts!!!!
That's exellant news on SE and its well over due. Ericsson have not promoted them selves for a year or so now(low sales and falling market share kinda served them wright)! Hopefully they will start showing ads in the UK aswell, and gaining ground over siemans and motocrap.
I think they need also to promote their lower cost and entry-level phones as the T68 I/M really sells its self!!!!

@phon-buk:
Nah, don't think SE should promote their entry-level phones. SE is new to the market and especially new to the customer. So first priority is to build up a brand awareness amongst people. And its easier to do so with your top-product everyone turns their head for (ie. T68i + Cam).
The reputation for providing excellent technically-advanced products will then lead to higher sales also for rest of the product range.
I mean a spot for a T65 would hardly be remembered by Joe Average, whereas a spot for a phone with colour screen and a connectable digicam will!
(Besides, there aren't any Sony Ericsson phones on the market yet! Come to think of it...)
cheers,
hymie

Yes you have a point of course but they still need to promote the T66, T65, R600 etc a little bit more even with the ericsson logos. Look at nokia and motocrap who have promoting their entry-level phones (in some cases more then their flagship phones) which most people at least in the UK end up buying in pre-pay packs! It will be long time before the T68i is sold on pre-pay!
