that may be but it didnt help them make a good phone when it came to the z600 it was so ugly it had pre 95 stylings.

although i don't like clamshells, i think the z600 looks very nice. z200 is IMO much nicer though! but z600 is not bad at all.

erm..... what's the point of all this? Different ppl different tastes. Bengal girl (nice alias.... I wonder what you previous nick was though?) you like the Z200..... which in my opinion is not only not very pretty but also not very advanced.

Who cares what anybody else thinks though?

IMO the Z600 comes "dangerously" close, compared to the Z200.

Btw, I've used the Z200 for some time. While the phone looks better, the sheer absence of many "must-have" (IMO) features deprives the Z200 of the "the phone" status that it could have otherwise enjoyed.

Samsung still excels in polyphony and screens but I can sum up Samsung clamshells in one word "BORING"... even the E700...

their tends to be general consensous between humans to whats nice and whats ugly. For eample sonia from eastenders is ugly and many people would say beyonce is very attractive. A puppy is cute a elephant is ugly.

So now on to phones Clamshells tend to be made for style not for cutting edge technology in a phone. The Z600 tries to do this but fails with the ugly desing. Its an elephant. I dont know how any one can say Z600 looks good and E700 looks boring (it has a olded screen which doubles as a view finder it has many textures from metal rubber and plastic its got contrasting colours hmmm real boring give me lime green plastic with a tiny mono screen anyday!). The only reason any one would say z600 looks good is because A) brand loyalty and B) They own a Z600 and need to feel good about their purchase.

I am not sayng the Z600 is not a good phone i am just saying in the wider picture (i.e. any clamshell this side of the centuary) look nicer than a Z600. Which is a big brick!

V600 has a metal body with a nice external screen and funky lights and is feature packed but manages to stay smaller than a z600. And looks cool.

E700 has a large colour screen on the outside which doubles as a viewfinder and is small and light and has a great colour scheme and uses many inovated textures within the design screens big and bright and the chrome trim adds to the style.

Z200 looks really really cute and is nice and curvy and has a good design features are respective of price.

T100 is small light and has a half decent sized external screen and a nice status LED.

Z600 has bloated elephant stylings with cheap keypad and joke covers which offer personalisation but look more like a "oh my god we designed a shit phone!...lets make it a bit better by adding plastic to it which comes off" the external mono screen is tiny and might as well not be their, and the hinge is pure vile especially when you open it its just yuck whats up with this phone! when its closed it looks like two DVD boxes on top of each other! The star tac had better style!

IMO.
