Why the hell is a SE employee gonna post anything on here, they already know about these phones so they have no reason to post.
Everyone else here is helping each other with phones, they just read for the feedback, apart from that they dont want 30,000 questions thrown at them in one day! Which is what would happen

Well, boyi is probably right. Any SE employee revealing him- or herself at this forum would probably be hunted down the thread

hey guys...do u really think that

employees will actually reply to this thread?
Most likely not...
reason being that nobody in the

organisation has the authorithy to make any reply or commitment to public forums. (even if some

staff does reply, it is merely their personal reply, theydo not represent the company itself)
A company has its product roadmap plan base on many factors...cost(electronics material parts,royalties..),market requirements, technogical roadmaps, 'good to have' or 'must have' features, memory size constraints, development timeframe, resources to invest, competitors product, market trends...etc...
there are plenty of things on the list, and it comes from many different departments input. A project manager sums up and work out an official proposal and submits to the directors for approval before the new product/project actually kicks off...
Yes, end-user's input is important, but they don't simply take in inputs/sugguestions and start working on them...
Even if there is a firmware bug,

engineer's will not simply go fix it just because he read it from some forums...(probably he may try to repeat the problem and if it does exist, he may just feedback to the field-testing dept and let them prioritze the level of severety of the bug. The software dept will then base on the official list and priority to debug the problem...
After improving and solving the bugs, it has to go through series of test cases, field testings under dfferent networks in different countries, so as to ensure that by solving some firmware bugs no new bugs are introduce....etc etc...
anyway there are hundreds and hundreds of things to be done from the day a software bug is reported until a new firmware is release to the public...
trust me...its not as simple as it seems.

The main purpose of this thread was not to discuss technical issues. I understand that most SE employees probably would not reveal the inner secrets of upcoming and non official SE products, even if they were aware of their existence. The intention was simply to investigate if there are any SE employees continously browsing the Esato forum on their employers behalf, as already stated in the topic title, looking for enduser comments and suggestions.
So what I really wanted was primarily responses from official SE employees, but, as boyi mentioned earlier, it's quite unlikely that anyone of them would reveal their existence and/or the fact that they know something about the inner secrets of any non official SE products.
@
passerby: I know, everything isn't always as simple as it seems at first. I agree. It's normally a very complex and outstretched process.
Let's continue the discussion in the following thread:
