my guess is the small image size. i know it's not because it's a gif. i've had the stamp go missing
before (there are two images, both gifs, but only the bigger one has the stamp). does anyone else know?
besides, that wouldn't be a problem for a smiley image linked from another webpage (which isn't the case in my example above).
