) had the same problem here also. its quite a pain when u plug in the charger, expecting it to charge like normal, only to realise that its not even charging at all after few hours later!
and the 2 pins thingy that connects to the phone's charging terminal can get broken easily if u apply to much force. lucky for me i had a spare charger from my bluetooth headset's.

@boto43 - Manufacturers such as SE will only change the design if they find they are getting lots of returns. Obv se are not otherwise they would have cahnged the design already (its been the same terminals for a good 5years).
Personally I dont want them to cahnge as I woul dhave to buy new cables etc. Plus the contacts do the job better than N*kia.
They are also suitable for upgrade to USB (One day please SE) as the current usb base is simply a usb to serail adaptor.
If you really have a prob with SE termials buy a samsung and then go cry to mummy when you realise what crap terminals really are.
