I wanted WiFi myself a while ago - but here in the UK there are only few places (e.g. Starbucks) where you can get WiFi and its not cheap. Vodafone 3G, which I use, has about 45% UK coverage and is growing. I was doing my work on the train on Monday and surfing the web - not really possible with WiFi yet but possible with 3G.

@Jah
It is possible to use wlan on trains, virgin and several other companies are currently fitting access points in their trains.
@all
Personally I'd much rather have wlan than 3G.

Cant beleive,
WiFi and 3G are two different things!
I have a wifi on my laptop, so if the phone had WiFi then I could connect the two, if I had 3G there would be no way I could connect the two. WiFi is just like Bluetooth.
I cant wait untill they release it with WiFi. It would be great!

I know about Virgin; used a Virgin train in April but could not see any evidence of WiFi. I have used WiFi at Hilton hotels and Moto service statons on the M6 - very expensive and the performance was very variable.
I know that free WLANs are a good idea. But I think 3G, in the UK at least, could reach 80% coverage in the next 12 months. For people on the move high speed data nearly anywhere is probably more important than very high speed data in some places. Obviously having both 3G and WiFi would be ideal!
Edit: I'm thinking about use of WiFi and 3G for data transfer not wireless networking!

i personally dont like the icons design.
I think if it were more aqua like or glassy it would look great.
The p900 icons with the subtle outer glow look better.

I know they are different - but I can use both for email and web browsing - which is all I am concerned with. I have WiFi at home, I use BT for SatNAv with my P900 and I have a 3G Vodafone datacard (and a Moto A920 in Three) and my experience tells me that I like what I can do with the 3G datacard. Have a misunderstood something really fundamental (I am aware the massive bandwidth differences between WiFi and 3G). And I also use BT to connect my P900 to a WiFi laptop to surf the web!

releasing this as a new model. There is hardly any improvements on the P900. Perhaps even a firmware upgrade can add the qwerty keyboard?
On the site, they write, that the firmware is tested on a P900, so it would work.

hope this help. I reckon with the final product might still have some more changes, one of which I really do hope will be a megapixel camera in the region of 2.0 plus, seeing that this is a high quality mobile.
