not sure about that sort of detail of law
anyway, if they had one I am sure they would have been very happy to sell it.
check out the phones for sale forum as there was a T630 unlocked listed there today

Yeah it was on the pay and go board in all 3 shops previously mentioned priced at 179.99 they had them in stock but only if i wanted it on contract they wouldn't let me have one as pay and go.

don't O2 sell contract phones unlocked and payg phones locked? perhaps thats the diff? just guessing here as I have never bought from them

My P900 is on o2 got it from cpw so propers SE firmware and not locked. My wifes current phone is a t230 on o2 pay and go and is locked to o2.
