I'm experiencing the same problem too. I had my t68m upgraded to the i firmware and I noticed that it takes it a longer time to catch a gprs signal in places where the signal is fluctuating. Good thing I have a t39 with another subscription (same provider) which reacts faster and I just re-start my upgraded t68 to recognize gprs right away... faster this way than waiting. Could this be a bug?

My service provider is Globe Telecom.

A master reset did indeed help me. Smooth and nice now :-) Just like R2B013 This post was posted from a T68i

I have a Dutch Vodafone GPRS subscribtion. Everything worked fine on the old software, but since the update to R2B025 I constantly have to turn my phone off and on to be able to use GPRS again. I do have GPRS reception all the time by the way, but when I want to load a WAP page it constantly says "Connecting..", after that nothing happens. On my T68i, also with R2B025, I also have the same problem.
does anyone else experience the same? It's really annoying having to reboot my phone every few hours. I hope some softwareupdate will solve this.

nghia, nothing happen but after you press no , did any sms come in? could be one of the reason.

had my t68m upgraded on may 29, so far so good until may 30 evening, i guess it's our sp. because our t39 n t68i acted the same way, .... never ending connecting. today, may 31, its back to normal.

I live in Switzerland, Operator is Swisscom. I've had that connecting-problem ever since, no matter whether I had R1A, R1B, R2B013 or R2D005... And my "old" R520m had/has the same problem, too, BUT ONLY on the same operator. So I'd take almost any bet, that it's the operator/network coverage, and not the phone. And, btw: Whom do you trust, your own reason, or that lady from the operator's customer support, that hasn't had a mobile in her hands in the last 4 years ?

yeah I think it's the operator
I don't have any incoming sms when i can't connect to GPRS though.
I just hope SE will find a solution to this problem with some software update, because I'm not gonna put my money on vodafone to take any measures

Tip for the gprs connecting problem:

connect -> data comm -> data accoumt -> vodafone gprs -> edit -> advan settings -> quality of service -> reliability -> select setting "subscribed"

I've made this change two days ago and didn't have any GPRS connect problems anymore. Sometimes the phone needs some extra time to connect, but it DOES connect and load wap pages or email messages.

I use Dutch Vodafone gprs, t68i r2b025
