@ lynx your quite right about upgrades in my experience any way also if you go direct to your provider you can often get a better upgrade price or time plan in my case orange are letting me chose an online plan and cheap phone as my contract is up soon and letting me have it early at no extra cost This message was posted from a T610

Here in Norway you can keep your number even when you change your operator.

The K700i should hopefully be out on Orange UK by July. I know that some employees are using it at the moment (not me unfortunately!)

@del

thanks for your comment but according to the may catalouge which i have there is NO k700. so technically, it has not been in the catalouge for ages - 4 days now! no meanin to be rude but i think ur exaggerating a bit!

even so - axxxr has confirmed that the release date is june 18th. And carphone warehouse arent stupid! do you REALLY THINK that cpw would put a phone in their monthly catalouge that wont be released in that month? they arent stupid and are very successful and dont wanna loose customers!!!!

Sorry but I was in there in mid may with my wife asking about a release date and the sales rep pulled out their catalouge which showed the K700 and then told me 3-4 months, so I'm not exagerating, just stating what I was shown and told.

My contract..ooo..expired today

Am currently on O2 and have no problems with them but I fancy a move to Orange as I like there customer services.

I popped into CPW the other day and they had none in any of the warehouses so the guy said keep trying back every week or say which is fair I guess.

The thing I found amusing though was the reply I got when email Orange asking about the K700. No mention of the K700 but a list of the following phones instead which are currently under review:

Nokia 6230
Nokia 5140
Nokia 7610
Motorola V220
Motorola V80
LG C1100
LG L1100
Samsung E800

Dah!

What a load of....
