It's coo1k3n here, I haven't checked this post in a while! Anywayz, time to stop the anticipation...

The reason why i created this post was because about a week ago i read about a sticky post named 'T630 Review' created by masseur
(read it here http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=48220). People had written loadz about the phone, but either seemed to say the camera was good or didnt mention the camera quality at all.

Photo A (as you've all gathered) was taken by a Sony Ericsson T630 (which i did take from someone elses post, sorry!). Someone mentioned in this post that i havent had a T630 before...... wrong! I have, and i found the camera to be awful awful awful!

Photo B was taken by a Nokia 3200 (suprisingly enough). For those who dislike the 3200, remember i'm only testing the camera quality (nothing else) between the T630 and 3200. Because people had sed the quality was good or didnt mention the photo quality at all, i figured i'd find out in a non-biased post (cuz i didnt tell ya what fones they were, even thought you all figured out Photo A was taken by the T630 obviously! ). (The suprising thing is the 3200 costs half the price of the T630 and it takes better pictures (most of you sed Photo B/Nokia 3200 was best). So far majority of you have sed that Nokia's mobile create better quality photo's than SE.

When i had the T630, i also had the 3200 and compared the photo quality. But for those who still don't believe the results of this poll kinda post, i will (just for you!) take a picture each from the T630 and the 3200, in the SAME lighting conditions, at the SAME time, of the SAME object, and also both on the SAME photo quality settings the fones allow me to select (have i missed something out SnowBear?!)

Snowbear wrote: 'take a pic with t630 at eney thing .. and in the same place at the same time with the same light you take with the other cam THEN post the photos and ask the question again...'

First of all, i will do this, second of all you would expect Photo A (taken by the T630) to be of excellent quality as the photo of the P900 was taken up close (there isnt alot of detail for the camera to take as there is less/no scenery at all). Where as with Photo B (taken with the Nokia 3200) the photo of the lights in london was taken from a distance (scenery, alot of detail, loadza lights).

Meanwhile, before i make another poll post with pictures taken of the same object (etc) on both the T630 and 3200, below is a picture taken with the Nokia 3200 (representated in this post with Photo B) taken up close, in doors in low light conditions...

Soon i will test the T630 and 3200 photo quality again, but of the same lighting conditions, at the same time of the same object etc. I will also test the Night Mode capability on each phone

Nice comparison. How does the t630 do outdoors then? Rather than compare the two in less than great lighting conditions, how would they do outdoors, for example?

the funny part is that you are seriously comparing the two cameras..... just like comparing a 9500 camera to a sharp gx 30...... lol
man it's kinda obvious that you use cameras and you are probably young BUT t630 is really a business phone, while 3200 is marketed to youth, i'm actually amazed that 3200 has such a crap camera considering that..... i really don't want to argue so i'm gonna stop but please are you really trying to say that people here don't know that t630 has a bad camera, wow i guess you aren't very active huh?
next time could you please come here with a memory test between 3650 and t630 because i really i don't think i can ever have enoguh of this crap.....
you had a t630 cmon where do you have it now? it doesn't count if your schoolmate has it you know?
sheesh i'm really getting tired of this "i'm the smartest and this is the best" crap, it's even se or nokia, what about simens or anything else why don't you compare both of this pics to a sharp gx 20 WHY always se vs nokia, man i'm really getting tired of this..................

Reply to MMSMAN:

You always have to put ure word in dont ya? Why are you making something so simple difficult??!!

The reason i did this post in the first place (as i wrote before) is because in a T630 review posted on the esato forum (click here to visit it http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=48220). The esato users either said in this review that the T630 had good photo quality, or alternative didnt mention about the photo quality at all.

So i figured i would carry out A NON BIASED REVIEW!!! Using two pictures, without telling you what they were taken with. And, the results are that most esato users (who posted a reply to my post) said that Picture B taken by the Nokia 3200 was of the highest quality.

Also, it doesnt take more than 100 shots on the T630 to figure out the photo quality isnt excellent, i'm not thick!!! So it doesnt matter if i havent actually still got the T630, the fact is im getting a T630 back to conduct this survey again (like i have written above!!!!!!!). Why doesnt it count if my 'school mate has it?'. By the way, its not my school mate who has it, its a mate of mine who works at Phones4U.

I purely wanted to see what you esato users out there thought.

P.S: I'm getting tired of you! Get over it, the public have voted that the Nokia 3200 produces better photo quality than the T630 (is it that you own a T630, and your getting defensive???). I havent forced the decision on them. Most of the posters wanted to know what Camera phone was used to take Photo B (the clearest) which was the Nokia 3200. If you can't handle this fact, yell at all the other posters, not me cuz i didnt make the decision. I posted the post with the pictures.

To the other NICE posters who replied to my post:

Thanx for the idea, will conduct outdoor tests when i get my hands on the T630 agen.
