I posted about a dozen ads on the net locally because I wanted a P900 but no one has manifested interest in buying it....I asked for 500$ CDN, which is half the price you would buy it brand new (i still dont understand why the P800 and the P900 are exactly the same price here, 1000$ CDN) ...Can't get in on ebay cuz I refuse to get a credit card...anyhow, finally decided to paint it because the case has some scratches and wait for the k700 to come out over here, or maybe even the Z500...dunno yet...Really wanted the z1010 but it's not compatible with north american networks...
P.S. Check this link out, this is what's coming to Canada, BEFORE the k700...im pissed...

if you guys have p800's sitting around doing nothing, i really want one. but i don't have much money. I can give a maximum of $215USD for it to be shipped to chicago. i don't care about minor wear. it just needs to be in perfect working order and come with cradle/charger/box/manuals/16mb stick, etc. you know, the things it came with when you bought it. a newer fw version would be cool but beggars can't be choosers!

this is the worst possible time to upgrade imo - the P900 is starting to look just as old as the P8 it's based on, and something better is just around the corner - likely to be a far bigger upgrade to the P9 than the P9 was to the P8.
even if you do think the P900 is worth having, it'll be a lot cheaper soon. struggle on with your (very similar) P8 till then.
