Given your choices . . . definitely I'll go for the SE T610! But if you are talking about old fones here, one of my best choice for now is the motorola V60i - that's what I am currently using!

What is better about the T610? It doesn't seem to have anything that the V500 doesn't have except infrared which I wouldn't use anyway.

two phones have similar features... the v500 have better screen and camera, but i hate clamshell design... i will go for t610
