Dont you guys think it's best to buy a clean phone instead of all that crap your english operators put in them?

thats why we r saying get from carphone warehouse because they never have the "branded" stuff from the operators. i think you only get the crap if you buy directly from the network.

Ive heard from just about everywhere on esato that the best op to get k700 on is O2. its got the least branding and havent taken any features out. go for the k700 on O2 i say. check other threads and ull agree. with orange its the missing shortcuts menu replaced with a camera and for voda its the disabling of the mp3 ringtones (i think i heard somewhere they removed the shortcuts 2 theres a good chance im wrong so dont shout at me if u know better

Yeah, the happy hour is a plus as well especially for MMS. And they plans are quite good as well. There is no reason not to go for o2. BTW if you buy from carphonewarehouse you won't get 6 months of extra free minutes and texts..
( my orange number will be transfered to o2 in 7 days;-))

I would say that O2 online is a good shot - you get the phone for free on a 12 month contract , the cheapest being £20 a month with 500 free txts and 300 free off peak call minutes. If you think about it, it's only £240 for the year which is cheaper than buiyng the phone SIM free at about £300 and an easier way of paying for it. By that time you're also eligable for an upgrade. However, the ''my friends'' function is missing from the O2 handset as it as been replaced by an O2 active icon on he menu. Physical appearance is unbranded though.

The best deal i could find by far is if your an existing vodaphone customer who has had a farily high (£30+) tarif. I got a free unpgrade to _unbranded_ k700i, one months free line rental, and a £12 media addon pack free for the next 6 months...

Has anyone actually used the My Friends function? IS it something you would miss?
