to be honest, i just use p2p plus amazon to get my dance/trance music. I first stumbled upon it when i heard a old Now 47 album, and it had songs like delerium - silence and Storm - Time to Burn. When i bought this album, id more or less glanced over these and ignored them, but now they are a breath of fresh air in this world of stale music. Pop hasn't changed, rocks getting a bit dull, RnB not my type, same for Hip Hop.
Anyway, there aren't a huge amount of good 'natural' dance/trance songs out there (as far as i can see), but what happens is DJ's like Tiesto, Oakenfold and others remix pop songs. Jurgen Vries, for instance, took Dido's "Take My Hand" (one which i like, admittedly, in it's original form), and made a brilliant version of it, very good and dancey.
Where to get the music...
Like i say, i use p2p mainly for my dance/trance stuff, as i can't seem to find it in local music shops, and not many of my friends are into it. However, i can recommend "The very best of euphoria" albums, in their various incarnations, as they have some superb music on.
My song of the moment would have to be
Delerium - Silence (Paul Oakenfold Remix) as it's incredibly catchy, and a good remix. I also like the Infusion Remix of Truly, again by delerium.
I'm sure there are also websites about this sort of music on the net, for recommending good stuff as theres a lot of duff. In fact i'll have a look, if there isn't i'll make one.

I used to be a big fan of rap and r&b-- but now the two are the same thing (is it rap? is it r&b? i cant tell!

) so i've given up on that, at least until eminem, dr dre, and snoop dogg come out with new albums
In the meantime, i will try to 'broaden my horizons' and check out some european and bollywood stuff, also start downloading more music (i've only got a new thousand songs!) and hell, i've found shitloads of stuff i enjoy listening to!
ok btw as i havent listened to much european music i was wondering what's good to download? I'm not talking about groups like Oasis but you know, the small and obscure bands

any good CDs for a night out with the lady? Any good music to relax to?
btw @all thanks for your recommendations i will check all of those out!
