Ok, thanks.

Now I wish I didn't have to sign up to all these groups! Why don't they just be nice and create general groups instead of member only ones. Anyway, thanks again.

You can transfer them via cable, bluetooth or infra red I believe.

using bluetooth - simply rightclick on the game.jar file and select send to, bluetooth, K700i or
using irda - simply turn on irda and connect the phone to the pc, rightclick on the game.jar file and select send to a nearby computer, or click on the irda icon in the statusbar (next to the clock) and browse to the file.
this way you send any file to the phones - games, mp3, themes, pictures, whatever
It will automatically be placed in the right folder.
no need for wap site at all.

the k700 appears to be a great phone to develop for. we have a game (not yet available to buy for k700) that runs much faster on a k700 than our nokias.
Examples:
* nokia 7650: 20 frames per second flat-out (as fast as it can run)
* nokia 6600: 22 fps
* siemens sx1: 23 fps
* nokia 3650: 24 fps
* sony k700: 30 fps (so i've been told)
the k700 wins on pure speed and thats all i can about as a developer.

Indeed it is fast and strong - runs any series 60 java game I've tried without loosing its breath. Even runs pal mp4 video clips at full 25fps
.jad files cannot be used - they are nokia only

JAD files are used when you want to download a java app from a web page but you normally don't need a jad to transfer to a handset via a cable, irda or bluetooth.
