Power hungry phone ! Due to functionality.
I use the hbh600 with mine and this further consumes more power because the headset is always connected in handsfree profile, compared to older SE handsets. :-l

I'm getting 1.5 - 2 days max. I'd be nice to have a little longer battery life than that.

Yes with all the new functions and added memory its gonna use more battery power. Each function is using power from the phones processor so more stuff on so on. Well you can always buy a spare battery

It's a good idea to charge the battery overnite. Since I did it and it helped

And yes... performance improves after the first few battery uses!
Cheers!

Battery life sucks on my K700i as well. Hope this can be fixed by a firmware update and

will release one soon.
However, I usually fully discharge/charge new phones at least 4/5 times and I've seen the battery life improve a bit.

Ive had my phone 7 days now, and its on its 3rd charge.
First day (Friday), i charged it for 6 hours, it lasted about 2.5 days with a lot of use. The battery meter went to the last red bar really quickly, but stayed there for a whole day.
On day 3 (Sunday), i charged it at night for another 6 hours. It lasted until Wednesday night, thats 3 days of use of the camera, the phone, SMS, 3D tennis game (CPU hungry) listening to the radio, playing a couple of Mp3's and on Monday, i spent about 4 hours bluejacking - 4 hours of constant Bluetooth scanning and connecting to other phones.
Its now day 7 and im on my 3rd charge cycle. Im going to charge it again for another 6 hours, and hopefully the battery will last even longer.
Most importantly i found on my second charge cycle (Sun-Wed) the battery meter was much more accurate. In fact, it seemed pretty normal.

Well I charged mine for hours overnight and during yesterday. I got up today, downloaded some java games, wrote a couple of texts, played a couple of games for a bit. The battery is now at half!! I'll have had the k700 a week tomorrow so i hope either a) it improves after numerous recharges or B0 that the indicator is just wrong - otherwise its piss poor!

I charged my phone last night
It has been on all day - Ive made a few calls during the day, send a few sms - and turned it on 5-6 times just to look at it - and the batterymeter is still full.
