For the price the K700 is pretty poor. I can get a PDA that is superior in every single way to it for half the price and just use some free phone for actually making calls. The two biggest problems with K700 is the gimpy camera and lack of removeable memory, both of which are addressed with the S700. 41 megs really isn't enough to store any significant video clips or MP3s so the lack of removable memory really cripples the phone's additional functions, and a VGA camera cannot take a decent picture you'd want to keep which makes it worse than a phone without a camera as there are more and more places you can't take cell phones with cameras. The memory stick on the S700 will let you take a usefull number of MP3s or videos with you and the 1.3Mp camera is 4x the resolution of the VGA, although still not great, can at least take reasonable pictures. Now hopefully the S700 won't be gimped to using only the tiny 128 meg or less memory sticks like the P800/P900s are!

as far as i know there is only 128 mb fore the s700 !! that does not bother me at all because im not going to use it as an mp3 player .. just som movie clips and some pic's

Some people really talk garbage!!
-The K700 is free on some contracts & it's SIM free price is already £50 cheaper than the Mokia 6230!
-Any PDA is considerably larger & worse looking also you would have the inconvenience of needing to carry two devices AND anyway .the K700 is not aimed at replacing peoples PDAs!
-Have you tried the camera? It is not 'gimpy' at all. In fact it's quite good & is better than the P900s. Also NO camera phone is meant to replace your top quality digital camera, it's mostly just for fun & convenience!
-Actually a VGA camera CAN take some good pictures & even if they're just 'OK' that's good cos after all it's just a phone!
-No it's not worse than a phone with no camera! I have yet to come across a place I cannot take a camera phone and by your logic there, ALL camera phones are useless no matter how good the cam!
-The phone is not meant for your entire MP3 or movie collection!! 41MB is more internal memory than any other phone I know & is plenty for storing a lot of pics, MP3 ringtones, some short videos & loads of games & still have space to spare!
-1.3MP is 'reasonable' to you! What do u want a 10MP camera with 20x zoom!!
It's a phone!!
-I find 2x 128MB Duos is plenty for my P900. 1 is full with 5hrs of MP3 music & the other has all my phones stuff. If u watch the video from Cebit about the S700, the SE rep states it will take up to 1GB but I suppose that's gimpy too is it or does that just pass to being average!!
PS welcome to Esato! Yours is one of the worst first posts I have ever seen and since when have gimpy or gimped been meaningful words! Stay on at school & try expand your vocabulary!
