Yes, the T630 is definitely a very good alternative to the K700.

But, I think the appearance of the K700 is "THE SLEEKEST, MOST CLASSIC, CLASSY, EXCLUSIVE/ELEGANT, PROFESSIONAL-LOOKING" phone. Ok, I admit that it has some features and functions like "MP3/camera/video recording" that's not considered important, but I think one can live with them... .

So, number one is the K700, number two is the T630.

It is for the reason that Nokias are quite commercial that I like SE.

Nokia make good phones and I don't dispute that, but many of them are quite similar and until recently have a screen the size of a postage stamp.

I have just got myself a K700 and it is very nice indeed.

You should perhaps compare it to the Nokia 7610 to see which you think is best....

If you are looking for an exclusive and sleek phone I'd say wait for the s700 to be available in your area. Its coming really soon and you could be one of the first to have it. That would really make you the trend setter.

If you care more about having the phone now with fewer extra features I'd say pick your favorite color t630 and buy it. Very sleek, very usable phone and still not too popular.

As for the SE versus Nokia issue:
I was once a loyal Nokia user. Mostly because in the old days they were phones with easy to use interfaces and advanced features. Since the advent large color screens and advanced features I think Nokia has been left in the dust. They mainly still work like they used to and that is silly compared to the icon desktop that SE is now using. SE is now superior to Nokia in technology and ease of use in my mind. Its just an added bonus that SE phones are so sleek looking while Nokia keeps coming up with every random shape imagineable.

Get the t630 because you don't use a lot camera either mp3 functions but it's very good with all you requested.

If you are looking for a basic phone and don't use all the gizmos, the T630 is a good way to start. A mature model with a beautiful screen and does all the mms, sms, e-mail and communication you need.

Go for the liquid black T630. It's very sleek and professional looking. Then you can switch to S700 when it's available!
