Your better off getting the brand new sony mp3 player. It holds 13,000 songs, on just 20gb!Unlike i-pod which only holds 5,000!And it has 30 hours of battery life!AND it works out much cheaper. :0

No, both the SE K700 and the SE S700 are phones

, but they are both phones with somewhat limited MP3 capabilities

i think the s700i is a fine mp3 player...
1 128 stick holds about 40 songs that's plenty for the average trip to work... bus to school etc..etc...
that's plenty..all you poeple with 3000 songs in your ipod..do you ever get a chance to listen to them all??
i had one put about 300 songs in.. that's about it...
s700 is a better all-in-one solution for me... i just throw other songs in at the end of the night..with a cardreader

Yup if you want a proper mp3 player get a iriver ihp120...same size and audio quality as an ipod along with a heap of other features to kick the ipod's ass.

second up here for saying that the s700i is fine for playing mp3's. it aint no ipod/iriver beater, but it'll hold a couple of albums and play em fine in stereo. No problems with mine. Seems a nice touch to have on a phone.

If you're referring to K700i, then it has a small internal memory to be a real mp3 player and it doesn't have expansion option. It supports stereo but if you want to listen to high quality stereo music you can only keep about 8-10 songs. The stereo earphones that comes with it doesn't sound good enough IMO if you want to listen to good music, the sad part is that you can't use just any good quality stereo headphone/earphone as it uses a different plug.
The S700i however has practically the same features except that the camera is 1.3MP and the memory can be increased using MS Duo.
