I still like the original covers of the K700i model
. . . Though your 'alterations' will be best used at nightime, say dinner parties etc., will match your tuxedo/suit perfectly !

£19.60 + p&p? wow thats amazing. considering Mokia's phone covers are £29.99 minimum. Who's gonna pay 30 quid for 2 brightly coloured bits of plastic? oo-er gon a bit off topic there, seeing as it was supposed 2 be about sum1's k700 that they painted black. so, just to clear that up...
if that was availabe in the shops, either as a phone standard or an extra case, i would probably not buy it, as i am far too scared of levering up the various parts of casing and snapping it.

For info, CNN.CN where i ordered my 2 case from are ok!
I'll only say OK, quality of the case is perfect, assembly was slightly less so. I thought that part of the planet was renouned for little hands, apparently there is the odd instance of ham fisted-ness though!
Cover panel over the camera had been forced on and clips bent rather than clipped in place!
Still that was the only panel on my phone not to have been chipped/scratched or gouged when i dropped my phone. So all in all i now have a perfect phone again.
I'm not going to slate this wee firm, 'cos at the price they were a good deal! From order to Delivery was only about 1 week, considering that the goods come from Hong Kong i was impressed.

Sorry if duplicating same questions, I just haven't seen a response yet... would be great if someone have done/changed housing would let us in on some "how-to" tips.

Take off battery cover, take out battery. Undo clips for camera lense cover (2 clips just above double clips for front cover, then slide the lense cover up and off), undo 12 clips for front cover. thats all the outer panels off, if you want to change the chassis too thats up to you to work out!
I stripped the outer panels off mine in 30mins, cleaned inside and re-assembled with new outer panels!
