Well i got a 7610 about a week ago, instead of a k700, despite my last three phones being
i got it, because i wanted a change, and i'm very happy with iy, comparing the two phones is tricky, because of the different price and feature ranges (Symbian anyone?). The only real difference that i'm bothered about, is getting used to the new GUI and the difficulties of making a theme (it's not fun at all!)
All in all, i think i made the right choice, next phone could be anything really, MPX, S700...

My brain's becoming 'rusty' as I have noticed it, so with this new SE fone, the 'neurons' will be forced to make their butts move like a 'P5' processor when browsing the contents of the K700i model fone

umm ok but i still think you can consider s60 phnes as smart ones i mean if you are saying that smarphone is the only thing that makes it a smartphone are you telling me that nokia communicator isn't a smartphone, sheesh.....
anyway smartphone is used also by microsoft os mobile like spv, in my opinion a smatrphone is just a mobile with almost endless possibilities (open os,memory card) and if a mobile has a symbian or linux or microsoft os than i consider that as a smartphone....
i mean heck even microsoft calls their phones smatphones! and if you are going to say to me that symbian is worse than microsoft than
