@ayush hope u was already at se or a foneshop! There is an equipment to put the fone, it vibrates a fluid thing in it and cleans the main panel, donnow how they call it in eng.

In the electronics trade,when or if a pcb is dropped in tap water or rain water(both contain impurities,like sodium chloride and other chemicals that corrode),you should thoroughly rinse the pcb with DISTILLED water,and allow to dry naturally.

Most surface mount components,i.e resistors,ic's(chips),trannies,caps are encapsulated in resin or plastic so will be fine.Things most prone to damage are lcds,speakers,piezos and connectors.Just use a cotton bud with distilled water,and buy a micro vac from maplin electronics or rs for about 7 or 8 gbp.
