I couldn't help my self buying a t230 so here is the truth regarding my questions:

1. RF. Much better than the the t68i but no match for the k700i wich is very good in that area.

2. Ringtone and message volume. Again better than the t68i especially the messagetone but the differense is not revolutionary and no way near the LOUD k700.

I had hoped the screen to differ more but 256 vs 4096 colours didn't make that much diffrence and the joystick is awfull and so is the key pad but so is the the keypad on the t68 also..

Overall i prefer the t230 as a a workphone over the t68i much besause it feels much more sturdy and well built, i newer liked the fitting of the battery to the t68i, strange enough i newer saw that as a problem when i was using the m version of the t68?

Its the resolution that matters. Even the P800 has a 4096 screen. This message was posted from a T230

@boba the T230s screen isn't 'nice'. Its unreadable in direct sunlight. That being the only thing bad in that phone. Otherwise its a brilliant device. This message was posted from a T230

I don't think so. May be IR could be possible in future FW upgrades. @boba i don't bother about the missing calendar or IR. Surely you can't have everything! I still think that the T230 is one of the best low end phones available today! This message was posted from a T230

Dont think that the calendar would take so much place in the memory. Since r320 it was a kind of must in the fones. This message was posted from a T630
