@ dekesh
You must have an O2 Online PAYG SIM not a normal O2 PAYG.
Here are my settings:
Internet Accnts:
-Accnt name: O2 WAP GPRS
-Conn. type: GPRS
-user name: payandgo
-password: Password
-Address: payandgo.o2.co.uk
-IP add. auto: Tick
-DNS add. auto: Tick
-Use Proxy: Tick
-Proxy add: 193.113.200.195
-Proxy port: 8080
-Enable PPP: Tick
WAP Accnt:
-Accnt name: O2 WAP GPRS
-Int. Accnt.: O2 WAP GPRS
-Use Proxy: Tick
-Add: 193.113.200.195
-Port: 9201
-user name: (blank)
-password: (blank)
Anythin not stated is left as default

Fair enough but certainly not all of them do, unless people just can't put the setting in right!

regarding MikLSP's settings above, instead of using port 9201 on the WAP accout I used 8080 and my grps is completely free now.woohoo

. I also checked to see whether this was just the monthly 1MB free allowance but 2day i used about 4MB and no change on my credit.had few connection probs tho like once i get disconnected n try to reconnect i get a message saying activation rejected but then i change the port bac to 9201 and try connecting and then i still get activation rejected, then i change the port bac to 8080 and it works again. however doesnt always work after applying the little trick jus mentioned.i think it works after a little time.not sure on the exact time you have to wait.I have left my GPRS connected since morning (GPRS timeout = never) and its been free all day so im not complaining.

all o2 PAYG users give the above a try and let me know if it works.stil working totally free on my fone.mite only work on p800/p900/p910 tho becuase these fones allow you to have wap and internet accounts and also let you configure ports.however may also work on other fones which allow you to fiddle with ports.i know series 60 works cos both my bothers' GPRS has been free all the time.

i tried all of the above on my p900 (changed the port to 8080 in wap and internet settings) and it seemed to work. but after downloading about 2mb of stuff i got msg from o2 saying: "you spent your monthly wap allowance, from now on you will be charged standard gprs rate". and from this moment i am charged for every connection depending how much i download, just like before i changed the proxy settings - the rate is 2 pounds for 1 MB. i use old o2 payg simcard btw.
