Well sorry i didnt answer yesterday i had things to do like having a life its so easy to get people going you people should just chill it doesnt matter which one he gets as long as he is happy personly i would get a siemens lol

ive only recently got my self a k700i but b4 i had a look and tried out outh models.
tbh both phone do offer similar funtions i.e. the radio, mp3 music, video playback etc etc.......
but in the end i didnt like the feel and look of the nokia and decided on the k700i
reasons? better screen resolution, better pic quality, better conectivity, nicer feel of the keypad and in my own opinon it looked more stylish:p.
im wasnt too bothered bout not having an expandable memory slot as 41mb is enough and i already hav an mp3 player:p

The version of the K700 I might get is from Vodafone and they said I can't get MP3 ringtones, is this true and if it is true will an update allow me to have MP3 ringtones?

I just had the chance to compare the two, having both in my hands.
The K700i has a nicer menu, much much better screen and photo capabilities, it lacks the MMC slot, however in general I wouldn't exchange my k700i with the 6230.
Since this is my first SE I think that I can be a rather objective user

how many songs can the k700 hold? if all space was dedicated to it.
n how much difference does the stereo sound make, compared to the 6230's mono?
