I personally don't think blu-ray will be as popular as DVD as 3 hollywood studios have already backed a rival format HD-DVD and do you remember what happen with betamax?

vanquish im sorry to disappoint you but the x-box kicks the ps2's arse whatever way you look at it. The x-box is what the ps2 should have been in the first place. Now sony, for the first time ever in the console market, find themselves not as pioneers, but playing catch-up, and having to copy the x-box with things like hard drive, 4 controllers, etc. to stay in touch.

and do you reckon they will let you use PS2 memory cards because when i got my PS2 the memory cards were still like $75AUD and i was just planning on using my PS1 memory cards but the bastards ripped me off and didnt let me:(.

because they didnt need to.
microsoft rushed into making the xbox and put all the latest shite into it, which resulted in lesser quality(hardware, not graphics). while playstation took more time to realease to make sure it was top quality gaming machine, which it is.
