But whats the problem with her having the same phone?
He want to have a better phone than her
Then let her buy a N6230
You read my mind!!~~~
No, acutally I want her to have a phone differ from mine, then we can try out different phones. More choices for us!! And my younger sister wants to buy one as well, but she prefer Nokia 7610, but I don't like it. Too big and expensive

The sister could get a P900 if she doesn't mind the size, they are going rather cheap these days. Alternatively she could perhaps invest in a Z1010, although I would have recommended waiting for the Z1020 as the Z1010 is pretty much outdated now.
I have to comment on the idea that mobile phones are just to make phone calls. Should we be able to access Esato from our computers? Should we be able to watch DVDs on our computers? After all computers were initially designed to solve mathematical problems for governments and large corporations, not as multi-media devices to be found in homes across the world. Computers evolved and so too have mobile phones and they shall continue to evolve.
Phone calls are one means of communication, a mobile phone's primary aim is to allow one to be able to contact other people, initially through voice calls, but now through SMS, MMS, e-mail, video calls, etc The addition of games, video players, radios, etc may very well be superfluous to the basic function of a mobile phone, but they fill an important function in and of themselves, they are fun! I have no idea why someone would moan at soemthing, which brings them a spot of fun when they have a few minutes (or even hours) to kill. I also see no reason why someone would moan at a device, which is able to increase productivity by allowing the user to view and edit documents and files, etc No one is forced to use the extra features on their phones, indeed, if one is so inclined, one can buy an older phone without these features.

Oh, I don't mind the "extras" but if I want to play games on the go I'll take my gameboy and if I want music I'll carry a cd walkman (mp3 isn't exactly quality). I'd rather manufacturers concentrated on designing a phone with a battery that can last 10 days and a signal that never drops. But I guess I'm in the minority, expecting to use a phone to make calls and not as a personal entertainment system.

@absinthebri
Your not in the minority, your simply being facetious. Most mobie phones are perfectly adequate at making phone calls and as for signal strength, there comes a point when hardware can't be blamed and one must look to the network's coverage and natural obstacles and interference.
Personally I do not like to ruin the cut of my suit by carrying several devices around with me, not to mention the bother of keeping track of them.

I had a similar problem with my sister, but she doesn't like SE (really stupid!). Since she wanted something with similar functions like K700 from Nokia, and since she don't like 6230, she bought 7600. Maybe that is a solution for ur problem?

Perfectly adequate? Like the K700i's battery? Why don't SE dump the joke of a camera, poor quality mp3 player and large screen and use the space for a decent battery? You might like the cut of your suit but I prefer horses for courses.

lol, i would much rather just be carring a just phone, than a phone, gameboy and radio/cd player. don't have the space in my pockets for all that gear. Not sure what to recommend, but if she gets the n6230, you will only be arguing over who gets the k700
Edit: Lol, poor mp3 quality, if you send a 128k/bit mp3, it is a good a quality as it would be on a normal mp3 player, not sure what you are getting at. Also the cam is great, it is a phone, not a bulky digi cam.
