In ImageReady (part of PhotoShop) there is an options to insert text in gif images. All the images that I've made myself have this string attached. Go to File -> Image info. Write the text string in the Copyright field. You should be able to see this string in a HEX editor also. The logo
have this string attached.
It's nothing I can do to prevent folks like this from grabbing logos from the site. They are probably using some kind of site-grabbing software anyway. I do want users to be able to download single images for private use.

Oh? Ok, so the people that uploaded the logo's own the rights and I'm sure they can do something about it, doesn't exactly have to be Esato alone in this.
Heh, I bet there whole website design is all ripped from other websites.

Deltayoda> I guess so mate. Anyway only way to take them down is to spread the word that Esato is free and better than the rest. That way they will all go rot in hell

--> laffen may I add that your site is always near the top whenever I run a search for t68 and logos or anything like that. I don't think there is much you can do apart from purely threaten them with legal action but is it really worth legal fees and hassle to proceed with these threats......

Make sure you do it from an internet cafe under a pseudonym!
I thought there was some sort of "Code of Conduct" for that sort of thing.
But if you give somebody something for free, isn't it up to them whether they sell it on or not?
There are many people out there who visit Esato but I work in 3G on Ericsson equipment and know for sure there are people in the industry who don't know this place exists.

Yeah the manager of the Ericsson Service Point in Sale hadn't heard of Esato which shocked me. But saying that he went on to say GPRS was a waste of time and no one used it (he couldn't believe I used it) and then to have a look at my T68i because he hadn't seen one working before (this was like 2 weeks ago).

Does the Esato owner not have a lawyer? This is obviously breach of copyright, and them saying the logos do not belong to Esato is complete rubbish. The logos that have the embedded text saying they are from Esato prove they are from here, and them displaying the logos and specially selling them is illegal.
The Esato lawyer should get in contact with the company and request a cease and desist.
