The "code" featured looks like the one to enter "Service info". It's fairly safe to play around with unless you find some other hidden menu that I don't know of...
In the third menu "Configuration" you can see if you have EFR enabled, you can't turn it off or on, it's not done via any menu. AFAIK it's always enabled - additional battery drain is marginal if any - it's been here since the days of the GH688 you know. The networks decides if it want to offer it - you can't.
