You obviously have not been reading the thread carefully. I'm trying to stop users from repeating what they have done to anopther user. That's my topic, and I am having a debate, not a flame war, with another user on the issue.

Have you actually read the bible? Where in the bible does it mention Hell? It doesnt. Nowhere. Anywhere. It talks of "Gehenna, the fiery waste". Gehenna was the rubbish tip outside Jerusalem (i think it was jerusalem anyway, may be wrong) where they burned all their dead animals. So it means you will die, not go to Hell. Its all about symbolism. Modern religion has built itself on Heaven and Hell. The bible doesnt say this. It says if you believe you will be resurrected, not to heaven, but to a new "paradise earth", and if dont, you will just plain die, no Hellfire, no eternal damnation!!
p.s. I aint into religion, i just check things out before i make a decision.

In the Book of Revelations it discusses an "eternal death" or a place of eternal suffering where all "nonbelievers" go.
Mind you, I'm an athiest, but I've been forced to go to church for 16 years! I stopped going about 10 months ago.
oh yeah btw this isnt really a factual dispute because different groups have different views and interpretations of the Bible so we will get nowhere by discussing this
