Dave and Midas, this app sounds interesting but wont install it till Dave gives his thumbs up. I've had so many problems with programs that are so difficult to uninstall, when I mess around deleting multiple files, the whole phone gets screwed up. So I dont need another one like that. But if all is sorted out, wont mind trying and buying

MP Pro works with standard Contacts database only! It doesn't create its own base (however you can create custom lists).

thought i could do away with Advanced Call Manager... guess i wud need tht too . wud be nice if atleast the next version has this feature...

Sod it - I can't get it to work. Never mind, I'll wait till I get my 910i and whack it on that instead, surely I can't have the same issue twice.

Glad you lot are all enjoying it though

The original Magic Profiles didn't work on my P900 ( at first it didn't, and then stopped - I even formatted and just installed MP and still didn't work) - wouldn't retain its settings and it seemed like it didn't stay resident in memory. However the Pro version works just fine :->

I'll be definitely registering this after the 30 days ( hopefully it won't stop working like the original did - the authors were good - they refunded my money after I reported the problem and the problem couldn't be resolved - which was really good.

For the profiles is great...but for the call manager is not OK for me. I have made a Black list in the Magic profiles pro an in the profile I have chosen the black list mode and the contact list I have made. The default rejection type I have chosen a call divert...but the phone still ring. I had to make a call divert when busy (in the P900 software) and to make a callers group (black list) in contacts to make the Magic profiles pro work properly. I have sent an e-mail to symbianware...I`am waiting fot the answer....

Regards,
P.C.

p.s. If someone have some suggestions pls post!

I have a question. I've downloaded the trial, and i'm trying it out obviously, but i want someone else's experiences also, before i pay for the app.

I have auto profile switching enabled, and currently i reside inside my 'silent' profile. However, if i move outside of it, to a cell location i've not set to a profile, will the App keep me set to silent or will it go back to the default volume settings, as no profiles apply to my current Cell location?

If that makes sense. For example, say at work, i set it to silent, when i leave work, it would be nice for it to auto switch back to 'loud' once its on a cell, not predefined in the 'work' location.

If this is how it is, i will definately buy it, otherwise maybe not because i would forget to turn my phone back onto loud again after, and it'd almost defeat the object...

I guess you could use Scheduling for the hours of work, but still, it would be kinda nice if it could all be done off Cell info. if anyone knows about whether it'll auto change or not, holla. I'm gonna have a look into it tomorrow.
