I just upgraded to R2E006, and it seems that GPRS works better than on R2B025. This is what I have found out myself by just trying the different versions: (Might be wrong)
On R2B025, GPRS hung when the signal strength was weak, and then it took forever to go back on again. (The easiest way was to turn the phone off and on again, but it was probably as quick to just wait.)
On R2E006, GPRS also has problems (the "Connecting" phase takes a long time), but it automatically resets itself fairly quickly. This is much better.
I have the feeling that the old R2A014 (that was before R2B025, the one the T68i is shipped with) is even better than R2E006, but it is hard to tell. At least I would be hesitant to upgrade if I had the R2A014 software.

Hmm... I have the same problem with Comviq and R2B025... Guess upgrading to R2E006 as soon as possible is the only choice right now... Hopefully this bug will be fixed in the next sw... (I doubt it though, I've had GPRS problems since I got my T68 in October, and I've went trough every sw that has been released for T68m... The best sw for GPRS I've had this far was R2D014...)

the fastest GPRS response i got came from my R2B T68m. i am now on the T68m-MMS. the gprs signal is so selective with respect to location, and the response is definitely slower... the lights turn off before it could load the page....

@ BlurryEye:
I really recommend upgrading to R2E006. It is much better than R2B025 for gprs.

I'll do that as soon as I can. At least it can't get worse...

I experienced the same problems after the R2B upgrade. Sent the phone off for R2E. Hope this helps

please note that some upgrades are used to fix problems with the operator, and as such is not applicable to all. example, R2B025 works perfectly with Smart (Philippines) but sucks when connecting to Globe (Philippines). my suggestion is if the current version works for you, don't upgrade it.
