@jn. Have never had alien battery warning either on any of my aftermarket batteries. They also last a good day longer than the official battery i have as well.

@staz081277 - So you say here mate that it's performance (replacement ones) is at par with that of the orginal too? Will they last long as well, say 2-3 years? 'Have to make some research on this mate

If your like me, and can't wait for 1 or 2, well then a nice big 3rd party 1100mah battery is nice.
I think 3rd party batteries are fine. Li-ion (or poly) Taiwan and Japan made batteries are all excellent. They excel at making these batteries.China made is usually good, assuming the factory is just a Taiwan or Japan company who has moved production over, which is quite common.
Of course there is always a risk, but in my opinion, it's worth it. I am waiting for this battery to show up on Ebay

1. It improves how long I can use the phone. Before, when using the original 700 mAh battery, I could use the phone a day and a half. It didn't last completely the second day, which made me charge it every night. This large capacity battery makes my phone last completely the second day and I therefore only charge it every second day now. I use the phone pretty much, so the point here is not to start a discussion about the capacity of the original battery (there are other topics for that). The point here is that this 1100 mAh battery lasts longer than the original 700 mAh - for sure!
2. The charging time is just about the same as for the 700 mAh battery. Placed in the charger, I get the "Optimized charging" message just as with the original 700 mAh battery.
3. As a bonus the 1100 mAh battery fixes the annoying cracking sound of the battery cover. This 1100 mAh battery is a little thicker and is covered in softer plastic than the original, so the battery cover is now very firm and tight. No more loose feeling or cracking sound from the plastic battery cover.
I highly recommend this battery, especially since it fixes what is mentioned under part 3 above. For those with a loose battery cover, please also see an earlier solution posted by me:

At a retailprice of approx 15$ does it really matter that much if it only last 2 years instead of 3 ? - I will for certain have changed phone within 2 years anyways

Last time I used a third-party battery was on my Nokia 8810, never had any problems and am thinking about buying this one for the K700i.
