With the fluctuating signal, I would rate SE in having the most accurate signal instead. Nokia's or Motorola's may not fluctuate but SE's give you a accurate refresh of signal and with all SE models, I can place a call sucessfully with 1 bar as I could with 5.

I am also experiencing that same problem with my SE T600. Went to SE Service Center and told me that they might not be able to fix it. That also happened to me a couple of years ago with my R520 until it totally lost signal.

cyberkid does your phone ever drop calls? If it does you have a signal strength problem, iether on the phone or on the network side. If it doesn't, it is nothing to get excited about

How could I know whether I drop calls?
I wouldn't know who were calling me up! I have so many friends and hope I won't lost any important calls from my friends using the SE T630~

The indicator moves in my one almost constantly, but i got used to it, it was the same in the /// times aswell. As i know its the result of the 'real time' aerial.

Yesterday, i was using my friend and fellow Esatonian, Vineet_d's K700. The signal strength indicating bars were fluctuating very rapidly on his phone. It didn't fluctuate that much on my T230. But the fluctuation didn't in any way affect the call sound quality and neither It's GPRS capabilities.

well if you can finish any calls you're on, and nobody's been complaining that they can't get a hold of you I think you know, don't you?
