OFF TOPIC: One morning I came to the office and was surprised not to see the usual annoying blue screen from our unstable NT server. Back to the issue, I actually prefer them as two strong competitors as that's what makes them strive to give us better (and cheaper?) products. A merging of the two will probably lead to world domination. (Sky darkens, Thunder and Lightning)

Well, when SONY and Ericsson combined, SONY provided the money at first, while Ericsson made the phones. Then SONY wanted to get in on helping with the designs of the phones.
I think we'd get alot of phones that looked the same, with slightly stable, slightly unstable FW, and alot of zany designs, with crazy keypads and odd add-ons.
