luk i knew u lot wud bum lick the s700, yeah its slightly better but not on another world, the sl65 has suprisignly good shots and in different lightings im sure the 7610 is better for pics thn the s700 , yeah s700 is better but by ur lots reactions its as if its a 2 billion mega pixel camera!
Youre kinda not making any sence here - first of the S65 takes crap pictures, secondly if it did take good pictures then why would it be surprising, it has 1.3mp camera like S700 and the 7610 only has 1mp - by that definition it should not be surprising if they were better than atleast the 7610, but they arent. Third, why should the 7610 take better pictures than S700 in different lighting ?
Youre talking utter nonsense
Finally the S700 shurely is no to be compared with a 2 billion mega pixel camera

but it very clearly takes the best pictures by far in this comparison. Even after the resizing from Esato the pictures from S700 are clearly sharper, with more detail and better colordefinition. Had the pictures not been resized by Esato the difference would have been even bigger

totally agree!
as i have tested them all, and have seen more pic comparison myself than the ones i have posted here, i can firmly say that the S700i's cam is better in any lighting condition than the 7610!
yes SE did have a problem in the past with low lighting conditions, but its been totally sorted in the S700!

what would be the point of comparing prices ?
Price is not related to camera only.
Then we should also start comparing Screen, playbackabilities etc. etc.
This thread is only a comparison of cameraquality - not of the phones or their prices in general.

I think the S700 pictures on the close up are better then the others, but the pics of the poster the S65 is a little clearer if you examine the writing. All are really similar, and TBH if you want to take decent pictures then buy a proper digicam.

s700 has nice features and very good screen, but it is a little bit ugly for a phone.

when I went to the CPW in colchester, one of the guys tried to get me to buy the siemens, telling me it was the best out of the three.
one question, to ALL s700 owners.
I've been playing with it for ages now, and i've noticed that in some lighting conditions, (my room at night with a halogen bulb) or (in the bar in a fairly dark lit area) the camera's quality is VERY bad (unless I use nightmode which smooths it out. Additionally, the more well lit the area is, the faster the view finder loads the image otherwise it's laggy.
Is this the same with everyone else?
