Guys,

Friendly word of advise...

The BELKIN FM transmitter is nice looking but is not the greatest performer. There are a few good reviews out there comparing a selection of them and you will be surprised in the difference in sound quality!

I will try and dig out the review I found most helpful, but I'm sure that a google search for 'ipod fm transmitter review' should pull something up (ipod users tend to be the biggest buyers, hence the design).

the best one you can get is the sound feeder sf121 fgrom amazon- also dont bother buying a adaptor for your phones plug from the net they are a fip off - £3 from the net- .50p from ANY local electrisiopns they have books full of them- maplin/rapid fire etc etc

I did do a search as you suggested and i could find no comparison reviews of the Belkin II some of the original.

In my opinion it works fine, just find a radio frequency with nothing on it set the same on the Belkin ..what I like is it goes to sleep after 30 secs of no sound .. but wakes up quickly enough fo rthe warning bleep on the laptop .Sound quality if fine not CD but good enough ..
