Doesnt work, by the way switching call type to analogue doesnt fix the problem the the gateway provider needs to know that the .thm file is a valid wap format... As yet o2 and vodafone dont... I havent tried tmobile and orange yet. I will make a few inquiries into this.

i don´t think the "analog" is supposed to solve the problem...
It´s more the gateway u use...
Sorry if it doesn't work, as I told u, i didn't try myself...
will try to get more details and I'll come back to you.

However i must say that the vodafone gateway i use for my sl45i is analogue... I might try it with those settings instead of my t68 settings

I have just got an email back from o2... and guess what? Surprise surprise... they havent got got a clue what am talking about! So i sent them one back demanding that my email be passed on to their gateway engineers, cos i do know what am talking about.
Another thing, the sl45i and java downloads used to have the same problems as the t68i and themes/screensavers, it was solved only by allowing the gateway users to download .jar + .jad file extentions as wap allowed downloads.

Sorry guys I gave you a wrong information...
The only advantage you can get by using another gateway is -sometimes, dependind of ur operator- having a GPRS connection which is faster... But it won't change the maximum size allowed for donwloading files.
One more thing: of course, you can usually use another gateway like E/// (not an operator) but if u r with vodaphone, u r usually not allowed to use orange´s gateway (that makes sense) !!!!
Sorry again
