slass - my apologies - great proof...

So - display is 320 x 240 I guess? How many colors? 262? Does it still use MS cards or SD/miniSD? Seems the camera and display the same as on S700? What about bluetooth, is it still 10m or newer?

I want it!

Couldn't you just make more pics of the phone and a few details? The screen looks like the one of the Z1010, so it'll be 176x220px.

lynn; Yes, the external display have icons for missed call, new SMS, new MMS, Bluetooth etc.
I don't think you can read text messages on the external display, but I'm not sure, I'll test.

I do not know the date when Vodafone will get V800 for sale, but it should be very soon.
...and any unbranded V800 do not exist according to what SE says, and no other SE 3G phone is announced.

O2; Yes, the external display can be used as a viewfinder, works very well, I'll see if I can post a photo of it. I wont post any photos taken with the phone, cause it doesn't say anything about what a photo shot with a V800 will look like. The firmware is not the same as will be in the ones for sale, so I can't tell about any bugs, but in this firmware there are absolutely no major bugs that I'm aware of.

Atlis; It uses Memorystick duo pro, up to 1gb if I'm not mistaken...
Screen resolution is 176x220 but whit 262k colors instead of 65k on Z1010. External display is 65k. (so the S700 di not have the same display, and the camera is not the sam either).
SE's pictures of the phones is much better than mine, check out their archive for very high resolution pcitures.

Is it sim locked to the Vodafone? I was using a S700 few days ago and I can tell that it is the one best phones I ever seen. But I want to buy a V800 (or a Haier P7), there is only one problem – I do live in Russia (Moscow) so there is no Vodafone coverage. But there are some cracked phones with Vodafone logo, some things like Nec e616 for “3” also works here. But it should be better if v800 is not sim locked to vodafone from the beginning.

ori; I'm almost sure Vodafone will SIM-lock it, but perhaps it is possible to buy without any contract, and with no SIM-lock for a higher price.
Either way you will still have their branding.

Yo slass.. thanx for ur reply... hope u got the pic... but take ur time.. coz u got alot of questions to be answered.... baut u said theres no unbranded version.. i may disagree.. coz SE has pics of V800 without the vodafone logo... so for now there wont be any unbranded... maybe for a later future... but if there a sim-free frm vodafone and paying at a higher price.. i dont mind... I want IT...

Yes an IMPORTANT question!! what is the maximum time limit u can record a video?? n is the video playback in full screen??? S700 has an option of unlimited but it can take up to only 3-4mins.. and not full screen.. kinda sux..

Just got my v800 it's a very impressive bit of kit. The video isn't full screen but it's better then the s700 and you can fastforward and rewind it. haven't tried recording a video for over a min yet will do tomorrow and i'll post some pics taken with camera if i get a chance
