@killerdude;your statement was absolutely correct mate.any circuit gets warm when drawing an heavy current from its source.tv's get warm, speakers get warm when played at volume, batterys get warm, etc. It's due to the circuit resisting current(electrons).IT IS PERFECTLY NORMAL BEHAVIOUR.

My fathers LG doesnt seem to get as warm as the NEC during heavy using like you said.

My Z1010 also becomes a little warmer in the keypad section when I e.g looking at a video that is streaming via 3G.
I think it´s just the phones cpu or something. Lika a normal computer / laptop gets warm when you use it!
//Mobilebear - who also bought an Z1010 cheap in Sweden.
Some days after I bought my Z1010 I saw and tested the V800 for like 2 min! (a man in the shop that I´m working in had one) Damn! I want one of those!

Some news from SE, Z1010 Background light turns off - MEA
Description
There is a known issue on some units, that the background light for the LCD turns off after apprx. 2 minutes. The light can not be turned on again by pressing any button. This is caused by an issue with the temperature compensation i.e. the background light could work again after the phone has been powered down for a while.
Solution
A normal software update will not correct this behavior and a special Service Software will be available week 43 to correct this.
More details will follow when the Service Software is available.
